How it all began…
Our family loves ice cream! Which often means we are visiting new places to taste different kinds of this sweetness! While on a family vacation, one of our daughters suggested we try rolled ice cream. Since it was our wedding anniversary, it seemed appropriate to celebrate with our three daughters with our favorite dessert! Like most families in unfamiliar territory, we googled “rolled ice cream near me” and found ourselves at a plaza trying rolled ice cream for the first time. That memory made a lasting impression on all of us with the desire for more.
The problem was, rolled ice cream didn’t exist in Central Illinois. Being the problem solvers we are, we came up with a solution! Now for the fun part of our story! We fervently began to pray about this, had endless hours of research, watched videos for months, talked to other small business owners, and followed in the footsteps we felt led to take! We want to share with Central Illinois at Scrolls The Sweet Room, a place that provides an experience that makes and captures memories to be shared for years to come.

After two wonderful years of serving our community at 321 S First Ave, we felt God was leading us in another direction- one that would take us here, there, and everywhere! The dream of taking our rolled ice cream business was set into motion in December 2024. Meet “Pearl”, Scrolls Rolled Ice Cream Trailer.
Why Pearl, you might ask? Purity, wisdom, faith, and good fortune. Pearls are formed from brokenness and suffering- symbolize then perfection of the Kingdom of Heaven. We hope to honor Him in all we do, no matter where we go.
